About This Service

Skin Quality & Texture at a Tertiary Hospital

A dedicated skin quality and skin state service within the Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center of Chongqing West District Hospital.

Who We Are

Skin care with a hospital behind it

Part of a Tertiary Hospital

Chongqing West District Hospital is a modern tertiary general hospital in Chongqing. Its Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center opened in April 2026 and operates six coordinated service lines, including reconstructive surgery, aesthetic surgery, and laser- and energy-based procedures.

Focused on Skin Quality

This service concentrates on how skin looks and behaves: texture, tone, firmness and hydration, and the specific problems that sit under those headings — enlarged pores, laxity, dryness, oiliness, dullness and uneven tone, barrier damage, photoaging and fine lines.

Multidisciplinary Support

Because the service sits inside a tertiary hospital, patients draw on pathology, endocrinology, imaging, and emergency response. Biopsies go to the hospital’s own pathologists, and skin changes that turn out to be thyroid disease, anaemia or diabetes are referred and managed rather than cosmeticised.

Our Approach

Assessment before products

We believe the most important part of skin care happens before anything is bought or booked: a proper assessment, a clear explanation of what each treatment can realistically achieve, and a routine that fits the life of someone who has to keep it up for years. That is why this site leads with patient education rather than sales language.

✓

Evidence-Based

Our guidance reflects established dermatologic evidence about skin care, barrier function and energy-based treatment, including honest discussion of risk, not marketing claims.

✓

Plain-Language

We explain what skin quality actually is, what drives each problem, and how long each step takes, in clear English, so you can take part in every decision.

✓

Honest About Limits

No product or device reverses ageing, results vary with skin type and adherence, and over-treatment makes skin worse. We tell you what treatment can and cannot do before you commit.

The Hospital

Chongqing West District Hospital

Chongqing West District Hospital is a tertiary general hospital developed as a major healthcare project for Chongqing, with a planned capacity of up to 1,200 beds and more than 300 types of advanced medical equipment. More than 200 specialists with backgrounds at institutions affiliated with Army Medical University practice across more than 40 clinical departments, supported by nine major medical centres including the Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center.

The hospital's culture, shaped by military medicine, emphasises discipline, rigour, and responsibility in clinical care. For patients concerned about skin quality, the defining advantage is that the full resources of a tertiary hospital — pathology, endocrinology, imaging, and emergency response — stand behind every assessment and every treatment plan.
